Is JAMB Result 2024 Out?
All candidates that registered for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination are hereby informed that the results have not been released for the 2023 academic session
Once the results are published, the JAMB verification portal will be activated. https://portal.jamb.gov.ng is the official link to check your UTME result. But you can also check your result through SMS as soon as your UTME exam is finalized.

How to Check JAMB Result Online at www.jamb.gov.ng

- Kindly Visit the official JAMB result-checking portal at www.jamb.gov.ng
- Enter your JAMB registration number on the portal
- Click on ‘Result in Slip Printing’.
- The portal will bring your result out.
How to Check JAMB UTME Results Via SMS
To check your UTME result through SMS, use the same number you used for registration just text RESULT to 55019 (fee is N50). You will get a notification soon.
The following responses are to be expected:
- A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
- If a result is withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to you.
- If you were absent, you will receive “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback.
- “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.
- If you use a phone number that was not used for registration, a message will be sent to you thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
- If you belong to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message you will receive will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
- A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
